Well, hello there, world!

hi there! :)

my name is Sarah and I blog over at My Randomness and Ramblings!
I just wanna say a quick "thanks" to Storyteller for letting me guest post for her while life is keeping her busy! ;)

I was chatting with Kayla earlier on G+ and she and I discovered that we both were really insecure about sharing our writings with anybody. Even people who are close to us. And blogging has helped the both of us to overcome some of that insecurity.

What about you? Did blogging help you to overcome any fears or insecurities?
Do you have any personal traits (i.e. being dramatic, or unpredictable, etc) that you feel help you to stay creative in your writing?

I, for one, have dozens of short stories locked away that only two or three people (at the most) have seen.
I was thinking of maybe sharing one or two of those old short stories with you all while I'm guest posting for Storyteller. :) Who knows? Maybe I will!

Do you have any writing tips to share?? Please, by all means, leave a comment and tell us what you've learned since you started blogging! :)

Ciao! ;)
Sarah xoxo

Hey...

Guess what?

Life caught up again, and now I'm going to be busy for the next copy of days.

Bother.

OK, so, thanks so much for my guest posters before, and now I'm going to need several more. Just leave your email in a comment and I'll add you tomorrow in the little time that I have. Thank you so so so so much if you're planning on doing this for me. :) It means so much. :)

And by the way, if you ever want me to do a guest post, I'm sure I would be open to doing it. :)

thanks so much||God bless

they don't understand

they don't know me. they just don't know me.

and they'll never understand.

nobody will.

except God.

Have you ever felt like that? Like nobody understands what you're going through? Gah, I feel like that all the time, it seems. Nobody seems to understand what I'm thinking and feeling, you know? They just all seem to... I don't know... be all thinking the same thing. And I'm just the odd one out. And they just don't even try to understand me.

It's especially hard when they all seem to understand each other. And they just treat you like the outcast. And they don't even try to understand what you're feeling. They just say you're horrible and different and whatever. And you can't help but think that the only one who knows what you're going through is God.

Have you ever felt like that?

I have.

Sometimes you just feel like you have to escape from them, get away, sort your jumbled thoughts. I usually get that done in my room. But in my heart? I want to rush outside. Climb a tree. Or something like that. Or swing on a swing. Just something. Something that will help you sort all of those confusing thoughts out. You know what I mean?

Maybe you do. Maybe you don't. Thanks for coming along and listening, though.

God will always love me

even if i'm not
popular

even if i'm not
liked

it doesn't mean that to
God
that i am a
failure

God loves me for who i
am

God wants to mold me into something
amazing

God doesn't care if i am the
worst sinner
the world has
ever seen

He is always going to be
waiting for me

because He does, and always will,
love me

Shadows and Post Titles

Hola. :)

Today, I'm going to be talking about two different CSS rules that have to do with two different types of templates: Simple and Ethereal.

On the Simple template, you will notice that all of your pictures have a sometimes rather annoying shadow. If this is there, you simply can't make a white picture blend with the rest of the template and look professional. So how do we get rid of that?

On the Ethereal template, when you hover over the post title, you'll get an underline. Some people might like that, but for me, it doesn't look professional. How do you get rid of that underline?

These are the two questions that I'm going to be answer in this post.

How to get rid of the shadow on Simple templates:
1. Log in.
2. Click on the blog you want to edit.
3. Get your blog into a Simple template or click customize if you already have.
4. Go to Advanced.
5. Scroll down and click CSS.
6. Paste this code:

.post-body img, .post-body .tr-caption-container, .Profile img, .Image img,
.BlogList .item-thumbnail img {
  padding: none !important;
  border: none !important;
  background: none !important;
  -moz-box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px transparent !important;
  -webkit-box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px transparent !important;
  box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px transparent !important;
}

7. Click return and then save template.
8. Click "back to blogger" and see how your blog looks!! :)
Note: when you're on the template editor, it will not show the effects of the CSS code. It will only show the effects once you are on your blog.

How to get ride of the underline on post titles on the Ethereal template:
1. Log in.
2. Click on the blog you want to edit.
3. Get your blog into an Ethereal template or click customize if you already have.
4. Go to Advanced.
5. Scrolls down and click CSS.
6. Paste this code:

h3.post-title a,
h3.post-title a:visited
{
text-decoration:none !important;
}

7. Click return and then save template.
8. Click "back to blogger" and see how your blog looks!! :)
Note: when you are on the template editor, you can't hover over links, so like before you'll have to go onto your blog to see the works. ;)

Hope this was helpful!! :)
