Yes, I was around people who do ballet yesterday.
Sooooo.... I got to help with props for a dance dress rehearsal yesterday, which was wayyyyyy lots of fun, because my partner was one of my best friends. :) (I have lot tons of best friends. Well, who I'd consider best friends.... =D) Anyway, so we got to move props while the curtain was done and then sit down and watch while the dances unfolded. My favorites were the ballet dances (of course =P), but the first hip-hop one was kind of cute. ;D (and the one with the little kids... absolutely adorable!!!!! :))
You might be wondering at this point how I sat on the floor backstage with my knee brace. Eh, I was OK. ;) (just don't ask how I got up... haha JK =D)
It was tons of fun. :) There were several people dancing that I knew, so it was lots of fun to watch how completely and amazing awesome they did!! :) And it's so amazing how well they do it. My friend and I were just like watching them in awe. ;D

Yes! Dance recitals were always so fun and terrifying at the same time. And yet, I miss them... =]
ReplyDeleteI once played the mother of Moses for a song in the Prince of Egypt film, and had to dance with a baby doll wrapped up in my arms. ^__^ (the song was Deliver Us, do you know it?)
