rubberboot girl was started back in 2012 by me, then not knowing much about blogging at all. i had some ideas about what it was supposed to be about. mostly random things. you know. it was named after one of my stories i had written, with posts from the characters in the story. from there, the posts and ideas seemed to dwindle, until everything was crazily random with no purpose and i felt like my posts were an old sock that you throw in the back of your closet and hope you never see again.
that’s when august 2013 happened. that’s when i changed everything.
i love simple. i love inspirational. i love writing them. i feel a part of me pouring and spilling out in a way that i’d never done before. and i loved it. so that’s what i changed this to.
rubberboot girl is where thoughts, feelings, and emotions are expressed, stories are shared, thoughts are shown, and the shortest of posts can speak can express a complex thought.
this is the direction. this is the purpose.
