Sometimes you just feel like that lone tree. You know? Like you're all by yourself, that nobody's ever felt like you have. That you're all alone. That there's nobody there who's like you, nobody who knows what feeling, nobody who's gone through what you're going through. I know that feeling. I hate that feeling. You wish there was somebody else, but they're all, like, seriously, perfect looking. You feel like that one incomplete piece of the puzzle that's always getting thrown about.
But you're not. There're others. I've been so surprised by how just like you guys have gone "I'm like that too!" I'm just like "really?? I'm not alone?" There's something about being with other Christians--about being with other people who feel the same things--that just uplifts your spirit. Thank you guys, so much, for being such great friends. You guys have shown me that I'm not alone. Don't ever forget to tell yourself that.
Great post! I feel this so often and I hate it. I'm always so happy when someone is like, "I do that too!"
ReplyDelete~ Jess :)
P.S. I think you made a typo in the second to last sentence: You guy's have shown me that I'm (not?) alone.

Deletehaha yeah, I changed it. Thanks for pointing that out.... =P
